AZ Delta attaches great importance to your privacy. As a hospital, we process your personal data lawfully, correctly and transparently, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG) or GDPR.

It is essential that you are well informed about how the hospital collects and processes your personal data.

Patient file

The processing of personal data is part of the care we provide. This is done, among other things, by means of a carefully maintained electronic health file in which your medical data is stored securely. We ensure maximum protection of your personal data.

Patient Privacy Rules

In accordance with privacy legislation, we have drawn up regulations that describe your rights and obligations with regard to the processing of your personal data. These regulations include:

- Identification data: name, address, national register number, etc.
- Financial, administrative and social data: such as membership in a health insurance fund, provisional administration, etc.
- Medical, paramedical and nursing data.
- Information about the appointment of a counselor and declarations of will.

Using patient data for clinical research

AZ Delta conducts scientific research and strives for innovation. Data from your patient file can be used for clinical research, after advice from the AZ Delta Medical Ethics Committee.

Data processing takes place in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws.

Do you not want your data to be used for scientific research? Then you can object via the relevant form. Please note that, in case of objection, any remaining body material collected during your treatment cannot be used for research.
